20 years ago today, I hit "publish" on the first post of a blog I called The Mumpsimus.

In a manifesto/prospectus for it, I said, "Who knows what will come of all this?" What came of it was over 2,000 posts, all sorts of things I never would have learned about or experienced otherwise, and a lot of new friends and colleagues.
