2. Whole lotta drunk driving!
3. What happens to actual Christmas Day, exactly?
4. Christmas fettuccine is. Not. A. Thing!
Apart from that, love it!

I never fully appreciated "The Love is Gone" when I was younger until
I saw the version without the song years later, and it just feels so weird and abrupt without it.

I mean, Gonzo and Rizzo are crying their eyes out for a reason. It just doesn't seem that impactful without the song and the sudden cut to them crying. 🤷‍♂️

I grew up on the VHS copy of #TheMuppetChristmasCarol and I couldn't BELIEVE they cut "When Love Is Gone" from Disney+ (now I know the story is much more complicated than that). I think it provides the emotional climax of the film, not to mention that it's reprised during the finale, so how can you cut it??

Rewatched #TheMuppetChristmasCarol yet again.

I've seen this movie every year for the last 20 years. On its 30th Anniversary it's no exception. What a timeless classic. What a performance by Michael Caine who only accepted the role after being assured he could play it 100% serious - and what a boon that was. I think this is what's making it better than any other version I've seen.
