I absolutely loved #JohnTurturro in #TheNameOfTheRose series. I don't care for Sean Connery so this William of Baskerville was an upgrade to me.

One of the best characters or figures anywhere ever, with all that intellect tempered into wisdom & compassion.

#MichaelEmerson + #RupertEverett also fine, of course, but not comparing.

I hadn't seen #RichardSammel since The Strain either & #TchékyKaryo is always love.

I've been reading "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco (English translation by William Weaver). It's really well written, good story, and I enjoy a lot of the characters (especially the main dude William)... BUT ... omg I really struggle with the long inside-baseball descriptions of Christian theological politics.
