My cat at the vets at the moment, so I'm calming my nerves with a bit of #FreeformEmbroidery, patching a tear in a pair of jeans. I always turn to hand crafting in times of stress - I recently watched the beautiful film #TheNettleDress and something he said about weaving really resonated with me, that it's almost as though the shuttle knows where it's going, you don't have to think or make decisions you just keep repeating the next action that the work sets out for you.
