Just watched the first episode of season 1 of #thenewsreader, and I am already hooked, The series tell the story of behind the scene of a news room in Australia in 1986. Anna Torv that we have seen in #Fringe plays Helen Norville a woman newsreader who has to fight misogyny and sexism in the mid 1980´s. Read some where there is going to be a season 2 that is great news,

So bloody excited to see on #nyeabc that #TheNewsreader has received a season 2. Such a fantastic homegrown show, though I do wish Anna Torv was too busy shooting #Mindhunter season 3 to do it… beggars, choosers.
