One of the things I'm most excited about in the #worldbuilding for my #novel is that not everybody in the novel agrees about what #magic is, who can and should use it and for what, who the gods are and what they are like, which myths are factual, or even the correct way to tell a particular story. It goes back to the colonial settlements but in the 1920s before becoming fully embraced im American Culture & Christianity during the Cold War. Could anyone #recommend me a book on #pilgrimage? I'm more interested in #historical and #theological accounts, rather than contemporary personal narrative, but if there's something in that style that you feel I MUST read, don't let that caveat be too dissuasive.

I've actually had a good day. Walked the dogs, got my work done, did some of my work in a cafe eating lemon drizzle cake, then mooched around a #theological library and now taking my friend to the station. When I get home it's gonna be some FIFA time and then #Imaceleb.
