I've been listening a lot to the #Norwegian band #Kalandra lately. I love their minimalistic approach to music. Beautiful and accessible, but beneath that complexity built on combining simple patterns, sometimes in odd meters. In this regard, Kalandra is similar to #ThePineappleThief, another band that I enjoy very much. And it is similar to my own approach of composing music: combining simple elements into complex patterns, preferably in odd meters.
