Снова представитель жанра "вот что крест животворящий делает". По заказу гостелерадио Ватикана.
Даже Расселл Кроу в главной роли не вытянул эту отъявленную бредятину. Сценарист "очень подающий надежды, молодой и уже бородат", Джулиус Эйвери. Запомните это имя, и бегите от его фильмов подальше.
При бюджете в $18М сборы во всём мире заявлены как $20М. Т.е. по факту даже себя не окупил, ведь основную долю сборов забирает прокатчик, а не изготовитель.
Если вам врачи прописали надавать себе оплеух, то этот фильм именно то, что вам нужно. Фейспалм за фейспалмом. Причём верующие будут мордовать себе с не меньшим азартом.
IMDB 6.1 выглядит как перебор. Ну за Кроу балл. Балл накинули за операторскую работу, и за спец-эффекты. И за то, что сумели скорчить серьёзные лица, когда снимали диалоги.
Рассчитывайте на 3.0, даже если вы любитель жанра.
Категорически не рекомендую. Лучше уж "трансморферы" в индийском варианте.
Оно ещё и "18+", и это заслуженно. Ибо детей такой ментальной копрофагией пичкать вредно.

#thepopesexorcist ....I managed not to fall asleep this time. I'm not a great fan of the genre, it's all nonsense. However, the first hour was entertaining enough. After that ? Even more ludicrous than the first hour.
