#TheRecordMan in #RedwoodCity has a bunch of old 78's out, free for the taking.

I took a stack, still plenty more. Got some interesting old music (though some are pretty scratchy--but hey, free).

Unfortunately they're doing this because sometime in the next year they will be going out of business.

They're going out of business because the whole block is being redeveloped.

It's being redeveloped for housing, which I'm all for, but I wish this new construction would put more storefronts at street level so we could still have places for funky/cool businesses like this.
