@GIS_Bandit I'm now through S2:E2 and alone is worth sitting through the entire series.

I'm sad I only see her credited for just the one episode, but I am enjoying the overall absolute ridiculousness of the show because, so far, it hasn't broken its own internal rules and logic.

Seeing last night in an episode of on () from #2009 was a very nice treat.

I know I'm not alone in having had a major crush on her for 40+ years.

March 4: A mother/son or father/son for

“Pardon me boy, is that the Chattanooga Choo Choo?
(Yes Yes) Track 29!
Boy you can give me a shine
(Can you afford to board, the Chattanooga Choo Choo?)”

Track 29 (, 1988), written by and based on his Schmoedipus, and produced by 's HandMade Films. A young man (very fresh-faced Gary Oldman) who suddenly appears in a middle-aged woman's (Roeg regular Theresa Russell) life may be the son she gave once gave up for adoption. Of course, tensions ensue, not in the least caused by husband Christopher Lloyd's vast model train collection.

Nicolas Roeg's Bad Timing (1980), from an era when movie-makers were not afraid of unsettling subject matter. It begins with a woman being rushed to hospital after an overdose.

Tthe events of that fateful night are slowly revealed. Timing is the key.

A movie that shocks us not with explicit sex or violence but instead with its willingness to explore the darker recesses of the human psyche. Brilliant disturbing film.
