Naturally, #ClivePalmer would be fighting against the ruling by the Queensland land court, banning development of Australia’s largest #thermalCoal mine, due to the impacts of #ClimateChange on future generations. This is exactly true to form for this individual. Clive’s company, mineralogy P/L bought Waratah coal back in 2009. #ClimateCrisis #NoNewCoal

#AdamBandt said the energy price issue was “urgent” but opposed more money flowing to producers.

“We’ll spend the next few days working through and trying to understand the government’s proposal, because at the moment a lot of it is media reports and speculation,” he said.

“We’ll do that in good faith, but we don’t think there’s a case for using public money to subsidise #Thermalcoal and #gas.”
