Ah, it seems that the parallel timeline where #TheRoadHome ends is intended to be the starting point for future *animated movies*, if they make them, and not the live-action reboot which hasn't yet been greenlighted.

27 followers · 308 posts · Server disabled.socialAs John slipped off Earth, he left a sphere-shaped cutout in the building. This reminded me of Galen's Sphere of Destruction, which IIRC was suspected to create pocket universes (I'm sourcing from āThe Passing of the Techno-Magesā by Jeanne Cavelos).
It would have made an excellent plot twist if the problem weren't being unstuck in time/space/reality, but rather Galen pulling strings.

27 followers · 308 posts · Server disabled.socialI enjoyed the movie. Some of the artwork and voice acting felt off. It was certainly a love letter to B5, as JMS said. I enjoyed all the refs to source material, and John's āYou are my universeā killed me, as did the memoriam in the credits.
I loved most that seeds of the multiverse idea were in the original content 30 years ago, e.g. the time flashes.

Animated & voiced well. The plot was terrible, lazy gestures at profundity.
Spoiler: A multiversal clip show based on newage conscious quantum observer effect. It took divine intervention to remind Sheridan that he loves Delennāas if he'd forgotten for a dayāand that fixes physics. Nice to see Londo, merrily doomed again.
