I'm deep into S3 of #TheRockfordFiles. Interesting thing about Jim's trailer is that it's sitting on flat pavement, with no place for sewer, plumbing, or electric hookups. The outhouse must be hidden in the sand.

#MagnumPI s1e12 (1981) - 9/10
An absolutely-delightful episode!

1️⃣ #BabsGreyhosky (#TheATeam, #Riptide) is one of the writers. It's a strong story about a daughter searching for her long-lost father, and it is laugh-out-loud funny all the way through.

2️⃣ #NoahBeeryJr. (#TheRockfordFiles) is the charming-rogue father. #AnneBloom (#NotNecessarilyTheNews) is the golly-gee-whiz daughter. Both are perfect.

Just watched an episode of "The Rockford Files". Wife got sucked into watching it too. Really good episode with Gretchen Corbett as Beth Davenport and John Saxon guest starring.

Spouse said she missed basic fist fights on TV shows.

Older TV shows are now interesting to me as historical video documents of clothing, transportation, and communication now.

My rotating list of TV shows has come back around to classic TV. Now up, #TheRockfordFiles. I hope the ads are retro, too. I'd like to know what I really wanted when I was in middle school.

#WonderWoman 36 (1978) - 4/10

1️⃣ Diana winds up in a strange small town where, it turns out, everyone is an imposter.

2️⃣ The story doesn’t really work. It’s not clear why the fake sheriff keeps Diana in town. It would make more sense to try and get rid of her. Fast. Also, there’s really no reason for the villains to be doing this. Masquerading as townspeople doesn’t help their scheme in the slightest.

3️⃣ The stuntwork is good, and well filmed.

We are watching Veronica Mars, and she works for her PI dad, and she tried to disuade a potential client by quoting the rate, which was $250 a day + expenses.

Delightful!

1️⃣ #HermioneGingold steals the show. Easily. But this is an exceptionally strong guest cast. #SheilaLarken (#TheXFiles) and #StuartMargolin (#TheRockfordFiles) among them. And everyone looks to be having a lot of fun.

1️⃣ The confrontation with the killer at the end is a tad too convenient/easy but the journey to that point is very good. It’s an inventive story, with plenty of credible suspects.

2️⃣ #RogerEMosley gets plenty of screentime and is very funny indeed as Magnum’s reluctant partner-in-crime.

Delightful character-driven story.

1️⃣ Frasier and Niles become obsessed with the inner levels of an exclusive spa.

2️⃣ The 3rd of 7 scripts for the show by #HeidePerlman, this is absolutely tailor-made to the characters and their unique foibles.

3️⃣ Loved the b-story, with Martin introducing Daphne to #TheRockfordFiles.
