I keep thinking about this excellent video essay by Andrew Saladino of The Royal Ocean Film Society about the crisis in the film visual effects industry right now. It's thoughtful and eye-opening. If you have even a passing interest in movies, or have seen a big budget flick recently, I really recommend this video.
