Mede-oprichtster van de legendarische all-female rockband #TheRunaways, maar ze stopt al in 1975 met deze band mede door toedoen sexueel ongepast gedrag van manager #KimFowley, maar neemt wel mee de demo en later album "Born To Be Bad" op. Ondertussen duikt ze op in verschillende andere bands, ze wordt in het rock circuit geroemd voor haar manier van spelen.
Tot ze in 1983 Annette Zilinskas vervangt als bassiste bij #TheBangles tot 2004.
