Today’s listening is ‘The Rutles’, the seminal 1977 album by The Rutles.

This is a compilation of The Rutles' greatest hits, taken from their classic albums such as ‘Meet The Rutles’, ‘Sgt. Rutters Only Darts Club Band’ and ‘Shabby Road’.

Here, the pre-fab four (Ron Nasty, Dirk McQuickly, Stig O’Hara and Barry Wom) show how Rutlemania shook the world.

My favourite tracks are 'Ouch!' and 'Let's Be Natural'.

Best enjoyed with a cup of tea and a biscuit.
