When I was 15 and going to punk shows a really old man (probably 25!) who ran them in town gave me a tape with this on one side and Buzzcocks Singles Going Steady on the other - blew my mind! R.I.P. Many years ago, in fact it was 1984, Chris Bailey (RIP) from the Saints asked me if I could get some of my ESL students to come along for a video he was making for a song.
In 1984 I was a teacher of ESL & English Literature at Leichhardt High School in Sydney.
I organised some of my Year 7 ESL kids to come along for the filming.
Here's video of Saints song "Imagination". Video is my ALL TIME FAVE because it has my kids in it.
The blonde girl is my daughter, the kid playing guitar/drums is my son and the baby walking towards camera - my other son. He was born a year before. Other kids are my ESL students in 1984
