The UK edition of THE SALT GROWS HEAVY by Cassandra Khaw is SO much better than the version we got in the US. Loved this story so much that I had to get this one, too.
If you like dark fables, and want to read a kickass, modern one that is also beautifully written and empowering, I highly recommend this book (whichever version you get.)
