@demiguru Ahhhh, okay. I can see how you might relate #TheSilence to that. If you're not familiar with #DoctorWho then the silence is a race of creatures who could manipulate others into doing what they wanted, and the instant you weren't looking at them, you forgot about their entire existence.

So, firstly, the beauty of the word imbues crypto with something mystical - like an incantation. This is often the case when a word is drenched in alliteration, assonance, onomatopoeia, etc. Being unhyphenated also massively helps. Secondly, cryptography itself is inherently mystical, in part because it’s based on zero-knowledge proof. This arguably outweighs the transparency/provenance of the blockchain. 2/4
