Dull.

1️⃣ It’s a light-hearted episode which, except for a few funny Oscar-Rudy moments, isn’t remotely amusing.

2️⃣ The “14-year-old boy” at the center of the story appears to be in his early-to-mid twenties. It doesn’t help.

1️⃣ My favourite bionic adventure. And the very best! Better than Bigfoot, or the Fembots, or anything else. This one has science fiction, and espionage, and genuinely spectacular action.

2️⃣ #JaneMerrow returns as scientist Irina Leonova, gets a ton of good material, 100% sells it, and has a lot to do with why the story works so well. There’s a superb moment between Irina and Oscar where he acknowledges that the USA would behave just as Russia has.

#JenniferDarling returns as Miss Callahan!

1️⃣ Despite being a straightforward undercover mission this episode is way, way better than it ought to be. Mostly because we get to see (the utterly adorable❤️ ) Callahan on a mission with Steve (acting as his backup).

2️⃣ Also, the main villain (played by #AlexCord, from #Airwolf) vaguely remembers meeting Steve someplace. And the script plays this out really well, creating/sustaining tension.

1️⃣ Had it gone to series, “Ultimate Imposter” would have followed the adventures of an OSI agent (#StephenMacht) who uses technology to instantly learn information, and master complex skills.

2️⃣ The early scenes are laboratory based, showing how/why the gimmick works. The rest is the hero’s undercover mission to rescue another agent (the stunning #PamelaHensley). Steve only appears briefly.
