8. Favorite character?

The answer changes every time I'm asked it.

This time it's a fixer I played in a #TheSprawl campaign who managed to check off enough XP and gather enough cred to take the "retire your character to safety" advancement and headed off to Costa Rica with just a few sessions left in the campaign.

Finished that game out with a new character while the other PCs moaned about my old one ditching them.

Great fun!

@ericmpaq I own and enjoy #TheSprawl with both SitS and Touched. I also like Sixth World as another take. My version is inspired by both, with tweaks to add the generational aspect (because of course) using career clocks that count down as runners acquire career baggage (debts, age, obsolesence, heat, enemies).

I've also taken some inspriation from Runners in the Sprawl, which is a #ForgedInTheDark take on SR.

Super partie de #thesprawl hier soir dans le contexte de Paris de Cape et de Chrome (supplément Metapole). Du cyberpunk et du cape et épées, un mélange haut et couleurs et très intéressant.

Tous les ingrédients d'une série TV de Capes et épées : action, retournements, dilemmes moraux, drama et galanterie !

Églantine a fait sa première promesse et elle fera tout pour l'honorer :)

Je conseille vivement TheSprawl pour se plonger dans le cyberpunk.

Considering adding the legwork and mission clocks from #TheSprawl to #BladesInTheDark , along with the [gear] and [intel] counters. Our group has a problem with moving from preparation to score, and I (as the GM) have a problem with prep not really factoring into the engagement roll and the rest of the score.
I get that #BitD is _about_ the score, but during prep scenes, we see much more of the setting and characters than during the score, so I want it in the game too.

@AetherEgo @greenspindle @PenPaperDice für mich: nach Möglichkeit rules-light (ich hab keine Zeit für dichte Regeln, lieber spielen) und schnell sollte es sein. Shootouts in Zeitlupe find ich boring. #CyberpunkRED (hab ich, tolles Buch) ist mir schon zu regellastig. #TheSprawl (pbta) hat mich nicht so richtig abgeholt. Ich finde auch, cyberpunk sollte dystopisch rüberkommen und nicht durch urban fantasy und Powerfantasy abgepuffert werden (#Shadowrun).

Busy and great weekend: yesterday I run the session zero for my The Sprawl upcoming campaign and everyone seems to be excited to play this game (so as I).

And today I finished the first chapter of my Star Trek Adventures streaming (different table, other players).

I’m already getting ready to run The Sprawl session one next Friday. Let’s see how it goes.

While the game doesn’t happen yet (after all, it will only be next Friday), I’m here having fun reading Count Zero. I can clearly visualize Turner’s Theater of Operations in a session of The Sprawl. It makes sense. #cyberpunk #countzero #williamgibson #thesprawl

But maybe what I liked most about The Sprawl is the collaborative construction of mega corporations and the Clocks system. Ahhh, I’m really excited and eager to see the dynamics of the Clocks during the game… I know it’s a Blades in the Dark mechanic, but it seems perfect for a cyberpunk scenario. #cyberpunk #thesprawl #pbta #bladesinthedark
