I write about strong, determined and feisty women, who have sacrificed so much to help others.
#womenofsteel and #thesteelgirls series are about the formidable generation of #sheffield women who worked in the city’s steel factories during #WWII to help help ensure the Allied troops had the munitions they needed.
Their lives were hard, their worries enormous, but they kept on going! 🙌
