Easily John le Carré's wittiest, most satirical novel of a tailor who makes up intelligence reports about things he supposedly hears while crafting beautiful suits for Panama's power brokers. Everyone in this novel has a special interest and an angle, and the lies, and the pushing of these lies, has consequences. Recommended if you're in the mood for some black humor with the writing of an angel. The movie is pretty good, too.
