The figures are custom based on characters in my “The Curious Case of Mary Ann”/“The Trouble with Tweedle” Wonderland mystery novels.

The Red Queen, Rosamund, finally got her dress and robes today! I love them so much with her crown— it’s just what I was hoping it would look like. I added the checkerboard ribbon, to bring in a little extra Looking-Glass feel. Very regal, no?

She misplaced her scepter in my book “The Trouble with Tweedle” and grabbed the nearest similar item- the flyswatter in her hand now.

Exciting day for me because I not only got the audiobook cover for THE TROUBLE WITH TWEEDLE from my cover artist, Dave White, but the audio proofs from the amazing Emily Lawrence. It’s such a treat to get to hear her act out the characters, including her perfect Mary Ann. She brings a lot of energy, empathy, and fun to it. And I get to experience it all anew!

I’m feeling pretty happy with myself over how this turned out. I‘m creating another one of my book characters, this time out of a Rupert Grint unpainted head I Ebayed. And today I painted him up.
