Re whether it's best to donate food or cash to #FoodBanks, I asked #TheTrussellTrust in the #UK & they told me: "Both are gratefully received. Donations (of cash) will help provide grants and additional operational support to food banks to help them cover increased running costs, such as extra food purchasing and rising energy bills, as well as funding our Help Through Hardship helpline with Citizen’s Advice. Food donations offer more immediate support through emergency food parcels. 💚
