I unexpectedly ended up spending a big chunk of this weekend tuned in to The Unthanks' "Winter Onliner", which has been a kind of low-key joy, and it's reminded me that there's loads of their music that I rarely listen to, and it's more varied than I tend to remember.

I think I'll be fixing that this week, starting today by digging out The Unthanks, "Here's the Tender Coming".

I'm a sucker for these folky melodies and stunning harmonies. The album is filled with fresh takes on traditional songs, plus a couple of new originals that feel right at home by their side. The arrangements remind me of #SufjanStevens at times.
