Just picked up this great new album by #TheVeils at one of my local record stores. The guy at the store remarked that it was a great quality cover, which it is. But he had to lookup the price, and exclaimed: ”outrageous”. He priced it €5 below the suggested price of €49.
The lesson here is: support your local record store, because they support you!

Today was a brilliant day, for two reasons:

1. The new #TheVeils album came out
2. My favourite podcast (Knowledge Fight) gave me a shoutout. I am now a Policy Wonk.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone else sound so much like Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds that wasn't them. Vocally, lyrically, and instrumentally. And as a massive #nickcave fan, I'm not sure how to feel about this.
