It seems to me that Albo and Labor are acting from the right motives and moving forward incrementally in the process of empowering First Nations people. And yet the right are trying to tie him to some mysterious conspiracy to disempower Australians and the far left claim he is stopping First Nation Sovereignty. From listening to Dan Tehan on ABC’s Radio National this morning, it’s clear that the Liberal Party’s strategy to defeat #TheVoiceReferendum is to muddy the waters by demanding specific detail in the wording of the proposed clause. The contents of the #AustralianConstitution aren’t exactly well known, which is what the reactionaries are banking on. We need an education campaign on the actual inclusions (& omissions) in the constitution (eg no political parties, no cabinet) #auspol
