What the hell is going over at WB and Netflix?!

Finished “The Lady of the Lake” a couple days ago and somehow the two big plot twists/reveals at the end of the book managed to be surprising and impactful. They also made me think about some of the —in retrospect absolutely baffling— decisions the games made (Triss vs Yen, Emhyr’s secret, The White Frost, Avallac'h, Geralt’s amnesia in W1…)
