Loving #TheWitchKing, by Martha Wells, just the kind of complicated, socially astute, chewy fantasy I expect from her…but I can’t help wondering what her legion of murderbot fans will make of it (though if you think about it, they are not that different - a person who is an intelligence inhabiting an animated corpse fighting against cruel and ruthless extractivist hierarchy - cut me slack if I’m wrong, I’m not that far in)
