British actress #SylviaSyms has died at age 89. Syms appeared in some TV roles in the 1950s but her star was launched in the 1958 film #IceColdAlex. She had a steady film career with roles in #TheWorldOfSuzieWong, #Victim, #Asylum, #TheTamarindSeed, #AbsoluteBeginners, #ShirleyValentine, #WhatAGirlWants, and #TheQueen in which she played the Queen Mother.
