It's a much better made movie, it has a stronger emotional through line, and, critically for my opinion of movies, portrays a much more honest emotional journey vis a vis Jean-Luc Picard's assimilation PTSD.

You know, I'm not going to say I want to see #StarTrek #TheWrathOfKhan actually remade. They basically tried with #IntoDarkness and, much as I like B. Cumberbatch, I just don't think it works without R. Montalban. Not even if they just remade the original movie shot for shot.
But what I think I would like to see is a *remaster* of the original. The graphics were great for the time but I'd LOVE to see it with modern GFX tech. Especially that Genesis demo video clip.
