Trees on the river bank in the field behind my house. With the sign and the precarious rope swing it always gives me a vibe of childhood adventure, like Huck Finn or Swallows and Amazons.

Not thick, but picturesque: olive tree next to the Ghar Dalam cave site, surrounded by native plant species, with an old stone wall in the background.
This site was an air force fuel base in WWII. There are still barbed wire pieces on the hillside. And now it's so peaceful...

We heard there was a possibility to see the Northern Lights way up north at the tip of Maine, on the border of Canada.
We didn't see the northern lights that night, all we got was this stupid Milky Way.
