Ich habe mir einen dieser gebrauchten #ThinkCentre PCs von #Lenovo angeschafft. Mit dem Upgrade Path war das Ding für 49 € einfach ein No-Brainer. #Proxmox drauf und mein #Vaultwarden #Docker Container migrieren vom Pi Zero.

Vom aktuellen Host dann noch den RAM übernommen und noch zwei 1TB SSDs, die im RAID1 arbeiten, eingebaut. Hatte die noch von meinem Gaming PC übrig.

I ran #Arch from 2006 to 2009 I think, and then on and off until settling with Debian around 2012 I think.
Had a #MacBook Pro Mid 2010 before the #ThinkPads. Ran #Mandriva and then Debian on it.

Das Ding ist die ideale Linux-Box für #homeoffice , flott, leise!
#ubuntuserver drauf und alles läuft... bis auf Wakeonlan.
... auch "secure boot"
Wakeonlan: im "Startup" "Automatic Boot Sequence" die M.2 aus "Excluded" rausnehmen.
Markieren, "x" siehe "Help-Message", booten. WOL läuft!
Noch ein Tipp: falls die eingebaute I219-LM (e1000e Treiber) nicht richtig will:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="pcie_aspm=off" in /etc/default/grub eintragen.

Hab nen "neuen" (refurbished) Rechner. Dort ist natürlich standardmäßig Windoof drauf. Kann leider keine normale SSD einbauen, da nur ne NVME-SSD eingebaut ist und der Rahmen/Kabel für die normale SSD fehlt (warum auch immer).
