@JeffHowell there's a group of anti-trans agitators = Resist Gender Education. They're pushing an anti sex ed message too. The group has links to the New Conservatives like Helen Houghton and is on the same page as Family First NZ and Destiny Church. Parties to the right - like National - are jumping onto their bandwagon because it's election year. The cry of #ThinkOfTheChildren always appeals to some folk more than listen to the children or care for them.
