I was 19, maybe 20, when The Kings releases "This Beat Goes On / Switching to Glide." I was in college ... and even then, my worldview was so small I wondered, "why would anybody be going to Toronto?"

I never thought for a minute a minute The Kings might be Canadian.

Up until I wrote this down, I'd thought this was a memory from when I was 15.
