I've been listening to this a lot lately, partly because of a multiple tragedy in the lives of friends around me, and thus partly because I've been working out how to play it.

I've known this song since its release, and I still think it's one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking, and simultaneously consoling songs I've ever encountered.

On a technical note, for a song that at first seems to have a straightforward intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure, I've found that Kate does three unusual things within that structure, one of them unique in my experience I think. Bonus points if you can identify them.
