@carlos #THLorg has proven itself to be a systemically corrupt organization, that is, unable to organize its conflicting priorities of public health and research. Without a fundamental rework, quite likely requiring its dismantling, we'll face more denial and an unsafe society.

In the meantime, my latest booster will be 12 months ago next Tuesday, it was not Omicron specific, and #Finland insists denying me one while bemoaning that over half million shots expire unused. Apparently my protection should be fine given recent exposure - but what if I have avoided exposures?

The 2023-2025 chair of WHO SAGE will btw be one of these people who value infections ahead of booster vaccines. Her impact on Finnish policy (post the intial phase when it was set by politicians) has been crucial for our current peak COVID death toll.
