I haven't found #horse Mastodon yet but still a moment of appreciation for this #ottb who was 100% perfect despite being given every reason to not be due to so much chaos at the barn today. #thoroughbreds don't always make sense but you can always count on them when things get tough.

Had a good morning with Jonesy the #OTTB yesterday, and my wife snuck this picture. He’s our second foster #horse and I’ve been having a tougher time connecting with him after bonding with our first foster, who I still really miss. But Jonesy doesn’t know about any of that, and was just happy to get out for a graze after all the #rain. Lesson: be present in the moment.
