Just got around to watching #ThoughtSlime's video on #AIArt and how basically, besides not being real art in some metaphysical sense, and not being truly AI generated, it's also not that different from the near past where #capitalism pushed artists to make soulless art just to pay the bills. The problem is deeper. Also a solid dunk on #marvel. Long live true #kino.
(Side note: i felt much the same way about #GlassOnion, particularly with some of the writing, forced "funny" acting, and the very very *very* recognizable #Netflix framing where there's only close to medium shots, giving a distinct straight-for-streaming quality that i abhor. Art must die for profits. I can't remember where but I feel like this netflix-style directing and composing has been mentioned in some video essay before so please point me in the direction if you know, or boost for knowledge!)
