An Ibis seen during a visit to Thrigby Zoo last weekend. The Egyptian god Thoth (Djehuty in Egyptian) was god of the moon, sciences, magic, learning, writing and mathematics. Thoth was credited with creating the art of writing, inventing the calendar, and controlling space and time. Patron god of scribes.
