#ThrowbackThurday to this time last year, when my family and I were at the Randall Davey A*dubon Center in Santa Fe and I just couldn't get enough of all the hummingbirds. (This is where I met my first rufous, pictured here, but also black-chinned, calliope, and broad-tailed.) They are such little fairies and I honestly have to stop myself from audibly "squee"-ing whenever I see one (so I don't scare them away). 🥹

I'm a huge #NIN fan. Trent Reznor really speaks to me.
I engraved this piece over a decade ago.
It's the "Art Is Resistance" flag. Feels somehow very relevant.

I'm sure the monks, who espoused piety and dedication, where lovely people, but when you see the reports of sexual deviancy, drunken fights, and poor timing re: prayers, well, I pressed X to doubt.

I first heard of this song while playing Dave Mirra 2. They lyrics' meaning changed over the many years in different parts of life.

It's an understatement to say that Texas has some interesting courthouses. A few are noteworthy, but most just look tired - as if they've been chewed up, spit out and stepped on like Bowser's bone.

The courthouse in Coryell County has never been a favorite, but sometimes... when the air has been washed clean after a summer rain and the sun is shining? Well, ymmv, but it makes me feel weirdly hopeful.

I’m taking it way back to 2015 with this set. I’d say this was Secondfloor and my first fully styled & planned out photoshoot.

It’s also about when I started to learn how crazy that dude is and that we were gonna have some weird but fun times together.

How this all came about was one day I was at Secondfloor’s house and he was out in the tiny back yard digging a big hole in the ground. I just kinda stood there watching him dig and he looked at me and said, very matter of factly, “I’m going to bury you in this hole”.

And he did.
