Anyone know where I may be able to buy an Annex for a Tepui Tents Kukenam XL Ruggedized 4 person Rooftop Tent? I'm thinking of raising it up on my trailer as I'd like to use the annex for changing area or extra space.

Thule seemed to change up the Tepui line and I don't see it anywhere after they bought it.

Or.. anyone good with sewing & tent fabric and can be commissioned to make one ;)

Today is the 55th anniversary of a Cold War accident.
First, some background.
The quickest route for bombers or missiles flying from the USSR to the US was to go north over the arctic and then south toward the US (throw away your Mercator map, look at a globe).
So around 1960 a chain of radars was built in the far north, looking north, to give advance warning. One of these was the newly built #Thule Air Base, in northern #Greenland.

Used the new #bike carrier for the first time this morning. So much easier to put the smaller, lighter kid bikes on the roof rack.

The #kuat carrier doesn’t bounce as well, unlike the old #thule hanging style one. That means I don’t have to constantly keeping my eyes on the rear view mirror.

Stone upright roof supports, and parts of bone/antler roof structure collected from surface. A polar bear skull has been placed on the floor of the entrance passage after the final use of the house.

After using a #Thule hanging style bike carrier for 7 years, I have upgraded to the tray bike carrier from #Kuat. It’s much heavier (2x) but some much sturdier and easier to put the bikes on. It doesn’t look like it will bounce and swing as much either. We will see.

This also means now the full size, adult bikes are on the bike carrier whilst the kids’ 24” bikes would be on the roof rack. Since they’re much lighter, they should be way easier to put on/off as well.
