Today's challenge: making a collapsible, airport-safe, entirely non-functional version of the Fremen thumper so Torrey (as featured in the video) can take the costume places. I'm thinking two sections of plastic pipe, with a coupler hidden behind the flame shroud, and some 3D printed bits glued on.

My favorite rhythm game is #thumper because more than any other rhythm game I've played it actually feels like you're part of the music. You get to decide how safe or flashy you play and that affects how the game sounds.

But even then, you still have to work with the order and timing of obstacles that the game gives you. Which works for thumper, but I want to find out if there's a way to get that feeling of agency, without a predefined track, while keeping the music sounding good.
