Anybody know a good Thunderbolt 3 KVM switch that can be used to control multiple workstations with one single Studio Display / keyboard / mouse? Does that even exist? This used to be fairly straightforward back in the day but with TB3 / USB-C this seems to be either impossible or very expensive? #kvm #StudioDisplay #Thunderbolt3

it's silent (#OWC nvme jbod) but it was expensive. zero regrets other than wishing i could have built two 😂

i also got one of those whack-ass MyBook jbods i wrestled into a mirrored 12TB pool for local backups via Arq and borg, in addition to zfs send/rec and i just started using znapzend for rotating snapshots from flash to cheap seats l, but it's not optimized well yet.

So, MOTU 1248 on any DAW not working, have an expensive Apple Thunderbolt adapter on the way, fingers crossed...

Stuck in a world looking at stupidly expensive USB4/Thunderbolt 3 hubs, all have some negative reviews about connectivity.

Behringer XR18, which I'm using tomorrow. Apple's flagship Logic Pro X just hangs on booting. Reaper loads straight away and records all 16 channels over USB2 no problem!

Can anyone recommend a #USB4.0 #Thunderbolt3 hub with #ethernet and #HDMI connectors?

The primary difference has been Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 speeds, also Thunderbolt 4 can support up to 8k displace.
