On September 12, 1958, Jack Kilby successfully tested the world's first integrated circuit at #TexasInstruments. This showed that resistors and capacitors could coexist on a single piece of semiconductor material.

Kilby's #IC was a leap forward in electronics. It was constructed from a small piece of germanium containing five components interconnected by tiny wires. Along with Robert Noyce, he is credited with the invention of the integrated circuit

The recently released First Fantasy II: Pokéwalrus Magenta Version got some fixes!

-The NEEDLE attack move now poisons its target.
-Added full credits for original Walrii fan art to both readme and the game as the previous credits didn't go into details for this.
-Fixed Walrii walking sprite overlapping on the right side of the screen when exiting the other side of the screen.
-Fixed final dungeon not unlocking properly once the other dungeons are completed.

After several years of delays.. my Churchill travel fellowship is back on. Off to USA in Oct for 5 weeks visiting lots of #ti mebanks #MutualAid schemes and more. Starting in Washington DC and around, then up the coast to Boston and New England, hopefully detour to Montreal for a mini break to see an old friend.. then on to Chicago and Austin. Planning on doing lots by train with an Amtrak pass so will have plenty of time to admire the views! Also doing some research and surveys with timebanks in other places and plan to pull all this into a report sometime next year. Min första hemdator var Texas #TI-99/4A.
Tror jag fick den när jag var 7 (1982). Var ovanligt att folk hade hemdatorer generellt då. Minns att min far försökte vara pedagogisk och berättade att programmering var ett språk som berättade vad datorn skulle göra. Satt i en timme och beskrev bokstavligen ett Pac Man-spel. Fungerade ju inte haha. Det roliga är att vi i princip är där nu ändå!
