These are part of my forgotten heritage project and taken at old Tiger Bay, Cardiff. With the need to move on, we slowly forget our past. The last 2 images are of The Coal Exchange. A building that's been saved by now being transformed into a hotel. It's worth noting, it's within this great hall that the world's first million point cheque was signed, here in Cardiff!

Tiger Bay Mooring Platforms

Taken on a foggy day, these were once used to moor vessels that once shipped Welsh coal all over the world, making the port of Cardiff, one of the busiest in its day. Now they're used as part of the areas gentrification and offer a surface layer of authenticity to the regeneration process to tourists.

The finished sculpture is 4 metres (13 ft) high and cast in bronze. Cambell's head and shoulders create a canopy sheltering ten bronze children of various ages depicted at the base of the #statue.
The base also includes mini bronze models of landmarks in #TigerBay, for example the #Pierhead Building and the Wales Millennium Centre
