I've a question for #wayland #TilingWM users of the fediverse. Out of the two and be honest which would you use and why ?
I'm trying to find out if folk are just all about the eye candy or if there's more behind their reasoning. Oh and yeah I'm a nosey cow too. 😂

#bspwm’s automatic placement of windows has made a really good initial impression when compared with how #i3wm requires me to be more actively involved with the placement. Granted I’ve only used it for a few minutes so far, but I’m impressed.

Oh what the heck if you can't beat them join them. Just added rounded corners to #EwwBar, #Foot and #Fuzzel and changed Fuzzels border width and color. I'm easily pleased. 😂

Yes I'm running #Hyprland right now and yes it is very very good indeed ! But I do still love #qtile running under #Wayland it does however give me the following issues ATM which yes will be fixed and yes I have reported all of these issues and I'm definately not having a dig at the fantastic devs on the Qtile team but right now I'm enjoying a little stability...

Finally quashed a bug that was plaguing my #Hyprland setup. My custom #EewBar with dispatcher scripts worked perfectly until I moved a window into the scratchpad. I initially thought I'd made a mistake converting grep, awk and cut statements to #JQ but nope. Took a little time out break and went back to my code and discovered I was making things way too complicated in my dispatcher script. Sometimes it pays to take a break. #TilingWM #Linux

@Wyatt It's actually been a really good experience so. I started with #Waybar but soon discovered #EewBar which to my delight used far less memory and CPU using the same setup. The only difference was I had to come up with a way to simulate the way my bars work on my #Qtile setup. So after a few days coding I have a reasonably working daily and I'm not saying it's 100℅ perfect but it's mine. I'm not dissing Qtile but I do feel Hyprland is the #TilingWM to watch.

I never used #twitter, but I did use #reddit, and while you could get that to a certain extent on certain subreddits, this achieves it to a much greater extent
