Can anyone tell me how to freeze time for test purposes?

Really all I need to do is override `DateTime.now()` but if I do it with `use MONKEY-TYPING` it claims that there already is one (🤦‍♀️). If I do it by just doing `class DateTime { method now() {...} }` it breaks `DateTime.new` (either with empty signature or real one)

I've got a time bug i can't test because the code uses DateTime.now

@celia I don't really understand what you're doing and/or expecting here. `cutoff_date` just looks like an attribute reader that doesn't actually invoke `Date.today`.

In any case, you might want to be using #timecop (gem) instead.
