I’ve found that since I got my Apple Watch I wear my “real” timepieces a lot less. That’s a mistake. I need to get back into the habit. Still love this Citizen MarineSport Automatic.

Bringing an 1 Watch Back to Perfection

On the bench a Lange & shone watch: 1. The watch is magnetised (as you can see from the photo) I used a special demagnetising tool, cleaned off any residual oil and dirt before serving. Lubricated all mechanical parts with new oils and performed a water resistance test. Lastly do a final accuracy check, ticking smoothly.

YouTube - So... the minute hand shows progression — apparently we think of time in wildly different ways

So I was watching this video by @TechConnectify on his second channel and while I was watching it suddenly all fell into place. 🤯 This is the exact reason why I always preferred analog watches! The idea that the minute hand forms a kind of a pie chart never even crossed my mind.

It saddens me that many people are unable to read an analog watch. It truly feels like a lost art.
